One Minute Writer: Jeopardy

Trish from Pendill Pages brought to my attention a recent blog of note called One Minute Writer. I love the concept. C. Beth posts daily blogging fodder which come from readers suggestions. You are challenged to write about the subject within one minute. I liked today's subject so thought I'd give it a shot.

If you were on the game show Jeopardy!, what interesting story would you tell to introduce yourself?

I used to tattoo dogs. Before the days of micro chips and identity theft, a friend and I would travel around the area and tattoo identification numbers on dogs inner thighs. The ID numbers were usually the owners social security number which was then registered at a central dog registry. I was only asked to get creative once by the owner of a weimaraner. I tattooed a heart with an arrow going through it under the ID number.

That is a past world...Where people would put their social security #s in a more or less public place.

Artsparker - A past world indeed.

actonbell - They were. I only had one dog turn on me. It was a rottweiler that the owner was afraid of. We had a system of restraining them but she let go as soon as her dog started to wiggle. The vibration of shaving the inside leg was the most annoying to the dog.

The problem with the one-minute story is that I WANT MORE, MORE, MORE!

Incidentally, I tried a couple of times the other day to leave you comments, but your site was very angry at me and wouldn't allow it.

I bet my big fur ball would just lay there like the lump she is. My daughter tatoos so maybe I should get her to put something on my pup.

Speaking of which, I've been meaning to say something on Rico~(and have but blogger was a bugger). He is such a handsome dog! I'm a great lover of GS's and have had two grace my lifetime. Dave and I were talking about getting another dog just last night and you can guess which breed I mentioned :)

Jocelyn - Maybe I'll go more in depth with this one day. I had a different comment option selected and it was being goofy so I reset it in settings.

kfarmer - The tattoo gun we used had a different needle depth than a human tattoo gun - I wouldn't suggest it. We've had German Shepherds since I met my husband. They are a handsome breed aren't they? Rico is a special dog.
