my favorite author at this point in time (really it's been more like a long line rather than a point), Neil Gaiman. Writer, actor, songwriter, married to the amazing Amanda Palmer, an imagination and talent with stories with dark twisty turns, has a home in Menomonie, WI, always wears black, messy haired guy (which I think his hair is an extension of his brain that can't contain all the stories and possibilities within so it has to overflow) with a mesmerizing speaking/reading voice in that "makes me melt" English accent.
