First Snow

I'm glad we have wood stacked and the smell of burning wood
will be wafting through the house.
I'm sad that this means the convertible goes into hibernation.
I'm glad I get to wear my wooly sweaters, stocking caps and scarves.
I'm sad I won't be able to walk barefoot in the grass for months.
I'm glad I still think the snow is beautiful.
I'm glad that there's more glad than sad.

I kind of love the significant four seasons. I mean after winter and snow, you really appreciate walking around barefoot in some month even more!

Wishing you a great end to your week :-)

Snow is beauty defined. We get far too little of it here.

We don't get snow too often down here but when we do~ oh its heaven! So beautiful and belive it or not, my house stays warmer. I guess the ice/snow seals the cracks ;)
