I'm glad we have wood stacked and the smell of burning wood
will be wafting through the house.
I'm sad that this means the convertible goes into hibernation.
I'm glad I get to wear my wooly sweaters, stocking caps and scarves.
I'm sad I won't be able to walk barefoot in the grass for months.
I'm glad I still think the snow is beautiful.
I'm glad that there's more glad than sad.

nothing like a bit of winter. we had our first snow ten days ago. then very warm weather but it's only a teaser, winter is a comin. thanks for visiting our blog!
I kind of love the significant four seasons. I mean after winter and snow, you really appreciate walking around barefoot in some month even more!
Wishing you a great end to your week :-)
Love that yardbird
Margie - Found you via black box.
Renny - I think I would miss the distinct season changes if I lived elsewhere.
artsparker - Thanks, his name is "Sqawk."
Snow is beauty defined. We get far too little of it here.
I miss the old snows of my childhood...thanks global warming!
I too love my sweaters, socks, hats, etc. I'm a Fall/Winter child. Born in Feb. I usually feel very alive in below zero weather...call me crazy...
p.s. love your furr baby
We don't get snow too often down here but when we do~ oh its heaven! So beautiful and belive it or not, my house stays warmer. I guess the ice/snow seals the cracks ;)
