This Disordered Life received the knit-up I sent for her guerilla art project. Since it's in the UK, does this make me an international guerilla artist? ;)
Anonymous - Some think this is a waste of yarn and that's OK, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I donate to charitable causes in other ways. But tell me of a program that requests home made mittens, I'll check it out.

yeh u are in the international knitting army! I've seen several of the artworkers at Henshaws exploring ur knitup with their hands - it's a great way for people with no sight to appreciate art and they are really enjoying it so a big thanks to you again. xx
notmassproduced - I'm so glad. I was hoping the textures and sounds would be appealing to the non-sighted.
cube - LOL! I heard on the radio last night that there's somewhere online that sells Festivus poles! Too fun! (Festivus is the made up holiday from the Seinfeld show)

I wonder if a long crocheted chain stitch could be wrapped around the poles -- probably would take too much time and run the risk of discovery.
